Emaar Properties has announced its entry into the coffee chain market with the opening of the first Emaar Café, located in the Fashion Avenue of The Dubai Mall.
A new concept from Emaar, the café offers an environment for visitors to network, socialise and relax in a casual setting, the company said in a statement.
It added that Emaar Café is set to "redefine the notions of the welcoming Arab coffee house culture to the next level".
Emaar added that it also exchanged agreements with various government entities including Dubai Land Department, Dubai International Financial Centre, Department of Economic Development Dubai, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre to allow customers to access information and smart services.
As part of this partnership, Dubai Land Department will provide informative services on home and land ownership registration services; Dubai International Financial Centre will support financial institutions, corporates and family offices looking to grow their business while the Department of Economic Development has installed a smart device to assist visitors with business registration and licensing services.
The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing will promote Dubai’s tourism credentials to visitors and DMCC will provide facilities, services and benefits related to settine up a business.

Visitors can also learn more about Dubai as well as the iconic developments by Emaar through an augmented reality experience.
Emaar Café will also host art exhibitions periodically showcasing the work of regional and international artists.
